Invited are not only all current doctoral students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Leipzig, regardless of the subject area and stage of their own work, but also all those who are thinking about a doctorate.
The workshop attempts to provide a comprehensive discussion of writing a doctoral thesis: From the question of what specifically constitutes the dissertation as a literary genre, to finding and concretising a topic, to researching, excerpting, writing and editing. The lecturers share their experiences and perspectives on doctoral studies, with all their successes and challenges, in order to support doctoral students at Leipzig University in their doctoral projects. In addition to the opportunity to ask any questions about scientific work and the doctoral phase, the event also offers the opportunity to get in touch with other doctoral candidates.
