Abstract

Johanna Mittrop joined the chair of Public Law and the Law of Politics of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Fabian Michl as a research assistant in 02/2022. She studied law at the Humboldt University of Berlin. In 2020, she obtained a master's degree in French Public Law (Master 1 Droit public général) at the Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris II and in 2021 a master's degree (LL.M.) in Transnational Law at King's College London.

She holds a scholarship of the German Academic Research Foundation and is currently working on her Ph.D. thesis "The Public Nature of Elections" (working title). Her research focuses on constitutional law and theory.

She is a member of the German Women Lawyers Association (djb).
